Super Mario Land released as a launch game for the Game Boy in 1989-1990. The game's plot takes place in a land called Sarasaland, where an alien called Tatanga hypnotizes everyone and kidnaps Princess Daisy in order to marry her. Mario goes on an adventure to save Princess Daisy from Tatanga (Even though Mario has Princess Peach!!!). Spoiler Waring!!!: When Mario saves Daisy, they leave on a plane and the credits play.
Super Mario Land remains to be a great platformer game for the Game Boy, as the game retains the same platforming elements as the previous games, has great music and is an overall fun game. But two of the main problems with this game would have to be the issues with the jumping mechanics to where you try to make a precise jump, but you end up being screwed over and also, the game is SUPER short. The game only has 4 worlds and 12 levels!! I mean, I bought the game yesterday from Nintendo E-Shop and I completed it in 1 hour!!!! 1 FREAKING HOUR!!! This is a very short, but really fun.
