I have had this game for more than 10 years, and have just recently began playing it again. It really is a very well designed game. When I first got it, I played it non-stop until I beat it, and then I went back to get all the bonus stuff as well. This was, by far, my favorite old-school original gameboy game. I recently bought a GBA:SP for the sole purpose of replaying some of the games in my collection that were purchased in the early 90's. I was surprised as to how well the games have held up. Wario Land could be released now and I think it would be reviewed well as a modern-day release.
