Super Mario Kart is still one the best Mario Kart racers out there. I think I'll just get to the point. The graphics are not as attractive now like they were then. There is nothing to unlock. What makes the game fun, though, is the challenge it puts on you. After you get gold in everything, it feels good, because this game is the hardest Mario Kart in the series (not counting 64 because it truly is unfair). There is replay value to some like me. The multi-player is fun--especially in battle.

This game is no different from Super Circuit or Mario Kart 64. If you liked those, then go get this. If you want a little more replay value, go with Mario Kart DS.
