A fun, innovative platformer that you won't forget.
Sound: The soundtrack perfectly fits each level and is varied enough to stay interesting. A lot of nice sound effects, too.
Visuals: Beautiful art design for a Wii title. Plain and simple.
Story: Nothing special, seeing how it's a Mario game, but that isn't really a problem at all.
Overall: An experience that you won't forget any time soon. Like most Mario games on a console, it's really spread out wide enough with each installment's release date, so you won't feel too bored of any repetition. Sunshine was a nice contrast to a lot of the Mario games, and this one succeeds in taking what made Mario so great in the first place, along with a bevy of new controls that expand on the traditional formula even more in ways that never fail to impress. If you own a Wii, this is one of the titles you should be playing.
