super mario 3D land is a great entry in the mario series and a great game for the 3DS. it is somewhat of a mix between super mario 64 and new super mario bros. what makes it so special is that it is in 3D and it works really well for this game. the game looks great and is one of the beter looking games on the system. the only real problems i had with the game were that the world map seemed odd jumping from water themed place then to desert the next, also the diffuculty is very easy for pretty much the whole game until up to around world 7. the game isnt the longest, probly only 10-20 hours but there is alot of replay value. You can chose to play the game without the 3D effect but the 3D adds a whole new layer of depth and prespective. If your a fan of mario or own a 3DS then super mario land 3D is a must have in your libary. Score - 9.1
