I played this game almost every day for weeks on end when i was a lad, and I still have the need to play it at least once a year. There are several types of difficulty in games, there's easy, medium, hard, really hard and then there's super ghouls and ghosts. I'm not saying "boo hoo its too hard so its crap" thats not the case at all.

The gameplay is wonderful, the movements and attacks are smooth, the buttons are simple and easy to use. There are a few choice weapons to choose from along the way with their own unique attack pattern and charged attack (my favorite being the daggers).

The graphics are nice and clear, not too bland but not to complex. The soundtrack, oh the soundtrack, By far my favorite thing about SGAG was the music, so creepy and epic i could listen to it for months on end.

The first time I played it i thought it was too short, thats until i got a big kick in the nuts and i had to go and find a special weapon and go through it all again.
By far one of the most under rated games on the SNES but in my personal opinion by far one of the best.
