This game is to die for!

I remember playing this game before on the arcade and I never really got very far. Back in the the 90's it came to the Super Nintendo but I did not really get a chance to play it! From what I remember about the classic Ghosts N' Goblins is that it was incredlbly hard and I MEAN HARD! I never could get pass that freaking first level with all those zombies running around. One hit, I lose my armour and then I'm a skeleton!!! But anyways, I had forgotten all about the Ghouls N Ghosts series and moved on until I found out just recently that there was one on the Gameboy Advance. It was released on September 22, 2002 and I noted that Gamespot did not give it much attention. Well, they are just a bunch of lazy bums as far as I'm concerned. They would rather give crummy reviews on better games than screw around with Ghouls N Ghosts ADVANCE! Well I hope my review will give it some light and maybe a little more attention! Here goes!

Game Play: You play as Arthur the Knight who has the beard! Appearantly there is a little celebration at the castle town and its perfect night for Arthur to see his sweet heart! And also the perfect night for the demons to kidnap a beautiful maiden! The game will start off by one of them smashing through the window and whisking the beautiful princess away into the night! You will find yourself in the graveyard with a bunch of levels that are so freaking frustrating that you will be saying: "damn it!" the whole adventure! There are a slew of wepons you can use from arrows, knifes, sickles, axes, daggers, spears, and a flame on a stick...! It sucks though... Chests will pop up and sometimes you will find green armour which powers up your wepons! If you manage to wear it long enough you will problably find your Golden Armor which is even better! And next you'll find the sheild which is the last power up that goes with your armor! With the whole suit your one tough looking knight who can charge up for a special attack! Get hit once though and you might lose it all!

Graphics: This game has very nice graphics! I like how every level has a different spooky and errie atomsphere. The background effects are also very nice. The monsters are well animated and the bosses are all different! Everything about this game from the opening to end is done well! All the levels traps are different also!

Music: Every level has a different tune! But one of my most favorite is the first level 's music! The GRAVE YARD! It will be stuck in your head! You will never forget that tune!

Value: Super Ghouls N Ghosts Advance I believe does have value! It's been around since the Atari days and it was remade several times before finally going portable! It's an instant classic!

Overall: If you like sidescroll adventures then check this one out! It's challenging and fun! Everything about this game I just love! Just get ready to die though. This game is just to die for!
