It's not Superbike 2001 but it has its strenghts

Like i said it's not Superbike 2001, although its made by same company. The graphics are definately better but it plays different. It uses the same character abilities, eg. heart rate going up when followed by or chasing someone else. You can change your riding gear as you go along and more options become available as you progress up the ranks.

The game menu is a little confusing, you not really shure where to go. I first had a problem by not being able to change resolution and do other advanced graphics setting. After restarting the game i noticed the settings function underneath the play button. Here is where you can change all your graphics requirements. Please remember to save your character by going into the character/profile settings and selecting save. After a couple of frustating restarts, i finally worked out how to save the game settings.

Riding these bike is difficult at first. Riding them fast seems a little more difficult, i have only just begun playing the game. I am shure the bike's handling will improve as you build your character, and you ride better handling bikes. The onboard view is my favourite, but they only have one option. You have to physically turn your head in real life to see the road in a perfect horizontal view. On Superbikes 2001 you had this option and one where the rider character did that for you ensuring that your view is allways horizontal. It's not bad just annoying not to be able to have the latter option available. The bike sits nicely in a corner and if you venture off to much to the side onto the grass, youre in for a fall. I like how the bike at certain revs and at certain angles in a corner will let the rear tyre go if you apply too much power. If feels allmost like the real deal.

All in all its a nice game and one that will reward you hours of fun once you get the hang of it. Until then its a bumpy ride.

I can really recommend this game above the boring MotoGP series which is too Arcade like for me.
