A very addicting fashion game that offers so much but ends so quickly

Fashion games have always intrigued me. Im not one for high fashion and the lastest trends but dressing up characters has always been a good time in my book. Ive looked high and low for a game to quench my thrist for a good "dress-up" game and kuckily I found almost the perfect one... Style Savvy on the Nintendo DS.

The game starts you out as a new employee in a high end boutique. Once you learned the ropes a dashing young lad gives you your own store... Yeah, odd.

You name your store, choose a layout (You can change the name and layout of the store at anytime!) and beginning selling everything from dresses, tube tops, platform heels and leg warmers to the nice customers. The customers come in and as quickly or slowly as you want, you help them by listening to what they want and trying your best to sell them an item from your stores stock. There is an insane amout of clothing! Seriously, there are 12 different boutiques you can buy from to stock youre store... all of which are extremely different. All the bases are covered here, Punk rock, Gothic, Sporty, Glam, Japanese... even vintage and hippy. Its super crazy just how many clothes there are... Thats the best part of the game.

You can leave youre store and stock up on clothing anytime you want. As you progress, buying and selling clothes, you can increase youre stock limit and get more store layouts. You can even guest design for the other boutiques!

On top of owning a store, you can compete in fashion shows! Those are fun but my only problem is that they are easy and dont offer much. And there is a hair and make up salons... Though, this is only for youre character. It would have been nice to be able to style the customers too but i know thats unrealistic. Hehe

Ok, so my final thoughts on the game are this, the game is very very good. There is a whole lot to do. There are literally thousands and thousands of clothes. The problem is the game is too easy and getting a five star rank for your store is just super easy. And after that there isnt much to do. The game doesnt end and you can keep running youre store but it gets boring...

I played it between 10 and 15 hours and I loved every minute of it. Anybody looking for a great fashion/style game for the DS, this is the best one on the market.
