Yet another installment to the SBCG4AP series, but for once, a letdown.
The Good:
The game still offers the same, good old fashioned point-and-click swashbucking that you'd expect from the series. I would imagine that it would still be quite humorous for many people as well. It didn't exactly make me laugh as hard as episode three, but it at least had its moments. There were a few interesting puzzles and the like as well.
The Bad:
Is it just me, or did this one get a heck of a lot shorter? This game was not only a step down on content, it was also a step down in entertainment value. By that, I mean it didn't exactly throw a whole lot in there other than just wandering around and collecting / giving items as the previous installments had. The puzzles were laughably easy for the most part, some simply involving frustrating trips from loading screen to loading screen.
It's still not a bad point-and-click adventure, and is highly enjoyable if you're a fan of the site. But for those of you who haven't bought any of these games yet, I'd highly recommend that you purchase the second or third instead...unless, of course, you simply want to have them all for the sake of sentimentality.
