Homestar Runner and Strong Bad make their debut on the Wii... and for the most part it's enjoyable.
When I heard about a new game coming out, I was hyped. My favorite web series was going to be a video game.
And after beating this episode, I can say that I am impressed for the most part.
Here's a breakdown...
Graphics: 7.5 - Most of the characters and locations look very good and closely resemble how they look in the flash series, but sometimes the characters look a bit grainy.
Sound: 9.5 - There are a lot of tunes that are recognizable from the series, and the voices are done by the actual VAs, Matt and Missy Chapman.
Story: 9.0 - Normally I wouldn't judge anything by story, but this game's story is just like one you would see on the actual site, and is really enjoyable and gives you a ton of laughs.
Gameplay: 7.0 - The game is a point-and-click game that has you solving puzzles using various items you pick up from anywhere. Some may like it, some won't. Also, the game is very short, and it will probably last you for 6-10 hours.
Replay Value: Low - After beating the game, there are a few side quests, but it's not likely that you'll want to do any of them.
Overall: 8.0
It's a good game with the unique style of Homestar Runner. Fans will probably love this game, but non-fans will probably pass this by.
