Streets of Rage 2 manages to be a great beat-'em-up and a fine co-op game after all these years.
The Virtual Console has numerous beat-'em-up games, but none come close to Streets of Rage 2 in value and fun. Right off the bat you'll notice that SoR2 features co-op multiplayer. Playing through this 8 chapter game is... Read Full Review

One of the best side-scrolling beat-'em-ups I have ever played.
I'll make it known; I loved the first Streets of Rage game. Yet again, the main reason for that is the nostalgia I get playing it. I never had that nostalgia when it comes to this game - my first time playing it came onl... Read Full Review

Simplistic punch 'n' kick fun. I've been playing this classic for years since it's release and I will never get bored...
I don't know how many times I've beaten this game on the actual console before I bought it for the 360. The simplicity of the game is what makes it fun and it's nice to be able to load up a game that doesn't take hours t... Read Full Review

Only 400 points for a game filled with so much rage is a really spectacular deal.
A lot of classic beat-'em-ups just don't hold up that well anymore. Double Dragon, for instance, was released on Xbox Live earlier this year, and while that game is legendary, today it just seems too simple and too short... Read Full Review
