i got this game when i was about nine years of age, and once i started playing, i quickly caught on and got addicted to it. on my opinion, i think its a great game. i began to be very fascinated by the fact that u can take apart the car and see the names of each engine part. anyway, i really think that it could be better here and there but overall its original and unique in many ways. the start of the career is a little bit boring but once you start getting farther in the game you win more cars and districts. you get to customize your car in many ways and upgrade your engine to make your car faster and better. yes there are some annoying things in the way, like the police popping out of nowhere, random crashes, but there are a lot of good things too. despite my computer not capable for the game that much, i can tell it would be much better than it is on my cpu. this game is very realistic (except for the crashes) and i enjoy it a lot (i wonder how different it will be with all the patches installed). look, i dont care what the "expert" reviewers say about this game, i think its a great game!
