Online is slow to react, meaning you play online or off, not both. Cheap AI and bad 360 d-pad ruin this

Online play is rubbish, you have to pre-empt everything which basically means the fights are down to pot luck. This does nothing but irritate me from the off and I cant play it for more than a few minutes before it winds me up and I turn it off in disgust. This just isnt the original game I know and love, this isnt helped by the fact the 360 d-pad just isnt good enough to be used as a primary movments control. You just end up jumping at the wrong moments or not blocking just when you want to, but Capcom can be blamed for that I guess.
What I can blame them for is the obviously cheap AI. It may have been fine on the SNES with its slow CPU but the 360 is just to smart for this kind of programming. The game has a perfect balance of actions for every other action which is what made it great originally, but the 360 can simply detect what youve pressed and give the perfect reation everytime, which is kinda pointless if you ask me as you end up in a no win stuation most of the time. This is the point at which multi player should shine but as already mentioned, ruined online means this just isnt the case and this leaves me nothing to enjoy in this one percet title. Even the difficulty settings seem to have little difference in them, the first guy is easy to beat, then it falls back onto it standard react to your button press mode and ruins the fun.

This should have been one amazing nostalgic blast from the past, but the way its been implemented means its just not the original game and therefore pointless IMO. The biggest shame on the 360 to date.
