Who thought making the AI this difficult was a GOOD idea?!

User Rating: 3.8 | Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting X360
There are a number of things that are right about this game.
-Looks great
-Sounds pretty spot-on
-Interface works well with Xbox360

There are a number of things that are not right about this game.
-Controller D-pad not suited for this game
-Inexplicably fast with no say over the speed

...and then there are a number of things about this game that just betray it...
-Character glitches (e.g. CPU recovers from fireballs too quickly, Zangief's move have near invulnerability, etc.)
-Difficulty

Now, I like my Street Fighter. First game I ever got for my SNES was Street Fighter II. I've also beaten Street Fighter II and its reiterations repeatedly. I CANNOT BEAT THIS GAME WITH MY BEST CHARACTERS. Even if you know what you're doing in the Street Fighter universe, you will find yourself waiting through the continue screen more than actually fighting.
Changing the difficulty has absolutely NO EFFECT on the gameplay, much like the Hyper Street Fighter II Turbo from Anniversary Collection. The AI is relentless, glitchy, cheap, and never tones down. Adding onto that the unchangable speed and weak controls, this game becomes almost downright unbeatable.

Long story short, if you are an SF fan and considering buying this game, you had better plan on trying to get your mileage out of multiplayer, because arcade mode will have you breaking your controller before you even reach Balrog...I cannot recommend this game to anyone in good conscience.
