A great sentimental journey for some, a very difficult Fighter to master for others.

User Rating: 8.1 | Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting X360
Street Fighter II' Hyper FIghting is a very welcome addition to the XBOX Live Arcade indeed. Many fans were longing for the ability to fight against strangers and friends alike online with SF2, but Capcom failed to fulfill a lot of those high expectations. For one, the lag time online is sometimes quite intrusive to the overall gameplay experience. Also, the difficulty to perform some of the moves on the XBOX 360 controller's analog stick is a little annoying. The single player 'Arcade' mode is fun to play as well, but the difficulty has been cranked up quite a bit. Even on the lowest star rating the game proves to be a challenge for novices. The graphics are excatly the same as you'll remember them from the arcade in the early 90's and most of the sounds are present as well. For some odd reason though, not all of the players various uniform colors are available. You can only choose from three, where as in the arcade there were four to choose from on SF2 Turbo. Overall, most SF2 fans will probably be pleased as I was. But for players who always wondered what all the fuss about SF2 was about, this might just make them wonder even more. Worth buying only for hardcore SF2 fans.
