The long anticipated remake of Capcom's classic fighter has finally hit Xbox Live, meeting less than expected features. Gameplay - I'll get straight to the point - its difficult. Gamers, casual to the fighting genre will have more trouble beating this than they will like to admit. Even I had a hard time beating this on the default 3-star rating. Its one of those fighters more dependent on timing, patience and experience. Graphics - SF2HF still contains the 2-D sprite animation of its original counterpart but moves at a much quicker and tolerable speed
Online - The most anticipated feature to this classic remake has been the ability to challenge others online. while its attractive in theory, SF2's added online multiplayer arrived with some disappointing performance. For one, its simple...too simple and the rundown interface makes matchmaking a chore. Bottom Line - The initial nostalgic feeling may be enough to satisfy returning fans, but for everyone else - I recommend nothing more than downloading the trail version.
