Street Fighter fans shouldn't miss out on this blockbuster classic collection.

User Rating: 9.5 | Street Fighter Zero: Fighter's Generation PS2
I always asked myself the following question during the ps2 days. When will there be a street fighter collection that includes street fighter alpha. When it came out I was all over it. It was an excellent purchase for a few reasons.

Graphics/Animation:
The graphics is the same, however all of the frames are there. Yes, finally we get to play the arcade perfect version of these games. Back in the playstation one days, street fighter alpha 3 was good, but you can tell it is not arcade perfect. All of the characters and backgrounds was missing frames. For example, in the chun-li stage, there were martial arts students in the background performing kata like stances. In the PSOne, the kata movements was incomplete, because frames were taken out. In the ps2 collection every game has every frame, which makes you feel like you have the arcade without the over sized machine.

Gameplay:
The gameplay hasn't changed, however there are some alpha games that includes a game mode that allows you and a friend to team up against the computer. The only problem is the fact that the game only allows players to play two on one fights. If you and your partner want a challenge, then play the tag mode on street fighter alpha 2, because the two of you share life and computer is super tough. There is a good chance you and your partner will have fight akuma a few times, because he will own you.

The game also has a cute fighting game that features street fighter and dark stalker characters. It is called Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix. The game is pretty addictive.

The game also features a hidden game you can unlock by using a cheat you can find on the GameFAQs website. There are also other interesting cheats you can find for this game as well. For example, there is a cheat that allows you to use the M-Bison with the infamous super special he owns you with in the final bout of the story.

Final Thoughts:
You get all of the alphas in their true glory and a little extra fan service. The only flaw with this game is the fact that there is no online mode and Street Fighter Alpha Max is not available.

This game deserves a 9.5 out of 10. Thank you Capcom.
