Amazing and redefines the genre. As an actual street cleaner, this is a great way to practice while I'm not at work.
Few developers delve into the street culture that is street cleaning, and Excalibur Publishing has succeeded in bringing awareness to the profession. Simulators are often plagued by poor graphics, weak or nonexistent plot-lines, and game mechanics that are boring to all but the hardcore enthusiasts. Street Cleaning Simulator may also suffer this fate, but the stunning realism and loveable sweepers succeed in drawing you in anyways.
My main complaint is in the lack of character customization options. I would have loved to create a driver that looks just like myself, and a cleaner with the same decals as my own. Hopefully this will be added in Excalibur's next iteration of the series.
Excalibur has yet to announce any upcoming DLC, but the beautifully crafted city has many areas to explore and secrets to uncover (and clean!), so it should still provide many hours of educational fun.
Do yourself a favour: pick up a copy of Street Cleaning Simulator and get those brushes spinning!
