As a aspiring truck driver and '3D gamer noob' it's an OK game, don't know why so many people like it.
I read many good reviews of this game and while it has its charm it's not a perfect game. People seem to go crazy over this game and I didn't get it. Maybe I just got my hopes up. I don't really play 3D games, my computers pretty old, but my grandmas computer is pretty hardcore so I was able to play this game when I visit. I enjoyed the idea of handling large trucks, as i am pursuing a career as a truck driver, but there was no opportunity to refuel or load or maintain the trucks, which is the real meat of professional truck driving (at least in my opinion, you can disagree).
I was challenged for the first five hours, but realized it didn't really go anywhere... it was fun for the price. Great for any one who want to get there feet wet in professional truck driving.
All and all: great clean graphics, great concept, lacking in depth.
