State Of Decay may not sit on top as far as Zombie games go, but it could get there and if it continues it could easily surpass the rest. This game has the survival aspect down better than most other Zombie games do and that along with the perma-death of survivors, actually building up your base to make it safer, and the Walking Dead-like zombie hordes. This game truly delivers a unique gaming experience in an over used concept.

Microsoft and Undead Labs used the most of what they had and the results are excellent with solid gameplay, decent graphics, and unmatched survival aspects this game will easily take hours out of your day.

- Plenty of bugs (which are allegedly fixed by a patch)
- Continued play while off of the game causing the death of survivors
- Zombie kills are a bit too easy
