I hope you guys enjoy the videos and, but before you go I want to say sorry for slightly bad camera in this video. Vacation fishing trips often end with a cookout and some cleanup. In State of Decay, your outing turns into an extended and brutally violent dance with stampeding herds of the recently arisen dead. Details about what caused the zombie apocalypse are sketchy, but one thing's certain: no survivor will last long alone. To make it through sun-soaked days and dangerous nights, you'll need to find other uninfected citizens and scavenge for resources.

Luckily for you, while exploration reveals great swaths of shadowy forestland and sprawling farms destined to go fallow, you'll also find plenty of abandoned buildings to ransack. Every home, storefront, barn, and gas station contains some quantity of the goodies you need, ranging from food and medical supplies to weapons, ammunition, and building materials. You never know whether you'll find junk food, bullets, or something altogether new when you break down a door and start rooting around in highlighted furniture and forsaken luggage.

With rough textures, framerate hiccups, and geometry that often visibly winks into existence not too far in front of you, State of Decay won't win any beauty pageants. And the expansive feel of its open world practically cries out (in vain) for some form of co-op play. But it also seems like every inch of real estate has been blessed with loving attention. Whether you're running around on foot or joyriding in abandoned vehicles, it's hard to resist the constant "I wonder what's in here?" allure of every closed door.
