the first State of Decay surprised me too, a game that even being a genre that has been much explored in the games, it has managed to bring news and is a survival game even, where you have to be careful what you do and avoid dying in the game, if in case die character can not come back anymore. when State of Decay 2 was announced I was very happy, since they would improve what was left to be desired in the first and evolve what was good, unfortunately I was wrong, State of Decay 2 disappointed me a lot, first of all that not many news, actually has almost nothing new in relation to the first, seems to be more an expansion with a new map, the combat remains problematic and locked, but at least you gain more mobility while you evolve certain character, the first game had a story in high and a very end well, in this second the story is almost left out, with few interesting missions and only one final that is not too much, you will be more interested in exploring to look for a resource than following the story, the amount of zombies is still great and confronting varios is not a good idea, so it is always good to be with vehicles at these times, there are many NPCs, but they have no depth doing to be personage s that you practically do not care, only help to achieve positive status in your base, the graphics are outdated and the setting is not very different from the first, the game has 3 maps with a reasonable size, but they do not have as much visual difference either , medium soundtrack and voice work is very weak, they paid little attention to the voices of the characters, and one of the biggest problems in the games is the amount of Bugs, it's absurd, every time your car gets stuck, sometimes it hits invisible things, your characters from nowhere teleport to another place and many others, making it very frustrating at those times and with the impression that the producer gave the game earlier than it should and with little polishing too, the game is not a disaster at all, there are good things, it's fun to play Co-op with friends and makes the game's lifespan bigger, not to mention it's much cooler to explore the places, State of Decay 2 is much lower than the first game, with a gameplay of problems, many bugs, outdated graphics and a narrative practically nonexistent, what saves is that the game has a lot of fun, with a great exploration and with many things to do in the three maps that the game provides, but Microsoft continues with problems in its exclusive in the year Sea of ​​Thieves and State of Decay make many similar mistakes, I hope that Crackdown 3 and a possible new game of the year do not make the same mistakes.
