The plague of public presence

User Rating: 9.5 | Starcraft PC
I remember being a little boy and going out to play in the sun and on the beach, and I would always come home from my endeavors to find my brother sitting in front of the computer (under a blanket-tent to deal with glare), developing bags under his eyes, seeming to grow paler with every passing day. He would be playing this game. Day in, and day out, he would eat, drink, and breathe Starcraft. This word becoming synonymous with "life" in his eyes. i decided that i would stay very far away from this game, but after the summer had ended, and school had been already underway, i picked it up and started playing. i would skip home happily anticipating my day as a Zerg commander or a Terran General. I would imagine that it's games like these that actually are a bit of a roleplaying experience, being able to sit in the shoes of a commander of a large force, and from your little laggy desktop computer, control the lives of hundreds of men.

Ahhhh..... this game.
