It's not what this game is, but what it could have been that makes it disappointing.

Long story short, I loved TFU 1 and was really hoping 2 would be even better. Unfortunately, the sequel really adds very little to to the first game and proves to be even glitchier and more frustrating in the end.

The pros:
- Visually excellent, from the actual gameplay to the substantial cinematics.
- When combat isn't making you pull your hair out it can be a lot of fun, and looks great (especially saber moves).
- Several opportunities for laughter, though I doubt they were intentional. For example on the second level some of the soldiers cry out, "For Baron Taarko!" or something like that. When I first heard it though I thought they were shouting, "Prepare a taco!" Trust me, it sounds just like it, and it's hilarious.

The cons:
- Combat can drive you nuts sometimes. All in all it's too black-and-white. Some enemies simply cannot be killed with a lightsaber, others cannot be killed with force. Some enemies can keep you pinned down almost indefinitely. Some of your own force powers are way too weak in some situations and way too powerful in others. Balance, people, balance!
- Boss fights. Some of the worst I've ever played. They're made even more frustrating on the PC, as the quick time events which you MUST PASS to kill bosses are displayed in tiny little prompts which don't actually indicate what they want you to do.

There's not a whole lot else that stands out to me, so I'll keep it short. I wish the people that were responsible for putting together the lore, cinematics, graphics, etc. had taken a look at some of the gameplay. Unfortunately as it stands the often maddening gameplay spoils the great setting.
