It's already basic knowledge to RPG and Star Wars fans alike that this game is a great play with a great story.

There are already over 200 reveiws for this game because it's been out a long time now, but I'm going to write one anyway based on the fact that I couldn't write one earlier. I short, what I'm basically hopeing you take away from this reveiw is that this game was well worth it's price tag.

If you like RPGs, this game is awsome. If you like Star Wars, this game is awsome. Essentually this game fuses the best of both worlds into a whole new experience.

Unfortunatly, because the intensity of the story is what both Star Wars and build of any RPG is based on, I refuse to ruin the story for you. All I can tell you is the basis in the begining, which isn't much sence you are basically a blank slate in the begining who wakes up from a strange dream during an attack on a republic ship, a fellow officer helps you excape and you flee to a nearby planet and the first step in forming a plan to get off the planet revolves around two basic objectives: Getting a ship without being discovered and finding an important jedi who also ecsaped the republic ship, but was seporated from you and is currently out of contact . The story stays basically the same structurally and takes place like 1,000 years or so before any of the books or movies, but you can warp it to your liking by making decitions on the way. You know: dark side vs. ligth side kind of stuff. Anyway no matter what side you choose just know that you will be happy with the time invested into this story. The story is so fantastic, they could easyily start a whole new movie trilagy with this one...if anyone was willing to go through the hasle (and I'm pretty sure not many are at this point). All I can say is this: If you thought Darth Vader or Darth Maul were hard core than you haven't seen anything yet, Reven is the key to it all.

Of course as in most modern RPGs you can do much more than mess with the story. You build your own equipment, gain lvls to throw in to tons of skill slots, develop your allies, ect. Most of the gameplay action is real time so developing statagies and being resourceful is a big part of this game. Most battles are not ended simply by pressing the attack button over and over so it stays interesting.

In conclusion this is one of those RPGs that should not be missed.
