Wow what a bug fest
Well at E3 they announced an event and players told them it would be a lag fest but they again said they worked it all out and here's what happened.
1. It was a lag fest in fact so bad that it looked like no one was even fighting at this Retuss event (spelling) although there were quite a few people there the server couldn't handle it and it was well under 200 people at the event.
2. The city was suppose to blow up and new quests where suppose to open up.
2a. The City never blew up. There was an explosion and then the servers crashed (which wasn't surprising to us Vets in the game.)
2b. When the server came back online the city was still there and we were stuck in between phases so we never got the new quests that were suppose to appear.
2c. They never tried to re-do the event they just took the servers off line and then replaced everything to what it was suppose to be after the explosion took place.
2d. Everyone at this point was suppose to be tagged as PvP when entering the destroyed city, funny thing is Rebels could enter the city and never be flagged for PvP.
SOE never enhances prof.'s to help balance them they always nerf everything instead.
They promised us (the player base) that they would listen more and communicate better with us. Instead they have done the exact opposite. They held some community summits that allowed players to meet with them and discuss the future of the game however nothing has really been done other than another combat upgrade that is severely lacking in the combat department.
They said they were bringing expertise tree's to make the now 9 prof.'s more unique. So what they did in this case was to take away our abilities and make us buy them back with an expertise tree only difference is there is not enough points to even make us what we were before the expertise tree's. We all thought all the jobs would get cool upgrades instead we all got downgraded.
Medics are the best in game tanks even better than bounty hunters, commando's and Jedi. To me that is just plain wrong. In fact there's allot of in game jokes going around about Dancers and traders being stronger than the Jedi in the game.
Yes Jedi are the weakest combat class in the game. They would be good but they only have a couple skills that actually work all the rest of their skills are bugged.
SOE continues to have posts deleted and players banned for voicing their displeasure about the NGE. Recently someone was removed from his position at SOE and Lucas Arts themselves sent in one of their guys to replace him, I'm guessing because of all the bad press and very very unhappy player base.
Even the former "fanboi's" are now dropping their accounts left and right.
Smugglers still can't smuggle, traders are no good to the game as everything they can craft is junk compared to what you can loot off a mob.
I've been playing for 3 years and now that there is an EMU on the horizon everyone in the game is waiting to start playing the Pre-Cu emu. In fact there are already servers set up and guilds waiting for a playable emu to be released in fact the one I'll be playing on already has GM's assigned.
Basicly there are ton's of bugs that have never been fixed and each time they release a publish or patch to the game more bugs appear.
They showed a plan to players of what they wanted to do then after that they scrapped the plan and decided to start over even though the players wanted to see them implament some of the stuff they had listed.
Basiccly this started out as a very promising game 3 years ago but as of now...
Medics are tanks and Jedi are the weakest in game battle prof. and if you ask me there is something really wrong with that. When was the last time you saw a group of level 1 dancers kill a level 90 Jedi? Well I saw it happen just the other night when a group of dancers decided to kill a jedi for fun. They were just as suprised as the Jedi was one they killed him lol...
