This game makes taking over the galaxy fun.
With a few new extras and a chance to play as a Jedi, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the latest installment of the Star Wars Battlefront series.
Time intervals range from all six movies of the movie, the game features an all-new story mode and including the classic Galactic Conquest mode.
In story mode, you go under the helmet of a clone trooper from a group in the side of the Republic called the 501st. As you start off in the Clone Wars, the game still provides the same Soldier Class selections (and the new play as a Jedi option) which you'll use each mission that provides you objectives and you need to complete them before your number of troops decrease to zero. As you progress through the story, the Rise of the Empire begins which draws you to wipe-out the Jedi forces as the 501st transforms into a new group called Darth Vader's fist. Now you'll rid the galaxy of the rebels with an iron fist alongside Lord Vader's command.
Don't worry, if you get to finish story mode that doesn't mean that the game is already over. Galactic Conquest is back in the game which allows you to pick your sides in the Star Wars' universe from the CIS to the Republic, from the Empire to the Rebels, assemble your troops and ships on planets across the galaxy. Invading opposed planets to bring them to your command until the galaxy is yours.
As you'd already know, you now get to play as a Jedi in the game which seldom assigns you to a playable Jedi from Obi-wan, Anakin, Windu, Luke and even Han Solo, depending on your side in the force. But the only thing is that your timed when playing as a Jedi.
Another new feature in the game is the awesome space battles which allows you to engage enemy ships in space. Just get to the nearest Star Fighter and launch to attack enemy fighters to send them in flames. But that's not all your gonna do, you need to take out the mother ship. The fun in space battles is that their dozens of ways to win it. You can take out the mother ship by just using a Star Fighter and shoot it's main parts while in space. Another is by calling out some troops to a transport cruiser and raiding and/or sabotaging the ship from the inside which is really cool. (if you don't take a transport cruiser and raid the ship on your own it'll be hard to slip past defenses.)
Well, now you know about the game it'll take you a couple of hours to learn the ropes of the game. Hey, even Darth Vader broke a sweat when he was taking over the galaxy!
