Top down space battle. Old school arcade?
Ship Selection: Decent size, featuring notable ships from all 5 eras of the star trek timeline. Also includes enemy ships and not just the Federation standard.
Missions: Most were show accurate, or as well as could be applied to a game. The "just for the game" missions had they're ups and downs too.
Gameplay: Easy to learn controls. Easy to use "target wedge" and a wide away of weapons made gameplay quite interesting and challenging at times, but still fun.
Overall: It was a fun game, but a few more ships might have made it better, such as Reliant, Excelsior, Ferangi Marauder, just to name a few. I liked the old school top down approach. If your a Trek fan this is a good game, especially if you've played Armada and actually want to DRIVE the ships.
