GS are wrong. The replay value is all in the multiplayer which you can play for hours on end and it will still be fun.

It is easily the best game on xbl arcade simply because, well of its simplicity. An yes I have played all of the other big hits on arcade. It's not entirely original or unique and there aren't many maps or gametypes but it's simplicity really comes out as its main point. You don't have to worry about planning your attack or being subtle (although there is a cloke feature) but the 3 classes are perfectly balanced there is much variation in the three gametypes and the 6 maps are totally different (as unique as you can get with a 2d shooter). For a 2d the graphics are quite remarkable. The action packed gameplay is incredible and the outcome is never sure. it's not a rock-paper-sizzors with the classes. They can all beat each other. the power ups really makeyou pull off some amasing feats such as a homing torpedo and a sockwave across the map. The ships handle amasinly. Theres no impossible turns with 12km long flagships. if you try to turn with the enterprise you will first twist to the left, slide along then thrust your way in the desieed direction. The power has to be equally devided between weapons and thrust. The most adrnaline part of the game is when your ships sheilds are drained and your about to crash you can jettasin in an escape pod. In this pod you are very fast but have no shields or weapons. If the enemy destroys you, you will lose most of your weapon power and have a longer respawn time. However if you manage to evade enemies for 5 secons you will warp away and come back with most of your weapon power intact. The 3 classes are totally different in power, speed, turning and type of weapons:

In short this is definatly worth your £6/$10/800MS where you can have hours of fun solo, co-op against ai or versus other people in 12 man online matches in deathmatch, assault or domination.
