Must have game for RPG gamers
I will name some of the good points of the game and then some of the bad points.
The Good:
Good story full of surprises. The ending could have been better but you get a different ending depending on which characters you use in the game and how you interact with the characters.
Character interaction is good. One of the best things of this game is the interaction with your group. The first time I played the game I did not know this but after the second attempt I tried different character testing and was surprised at some of the video scenes that emerged. This also has a bearing on which characters you can have in your group.
Combat system is very good. You are transported in to an arena for all fights and as this is not turn based you can do whatever you want. You can fight alone or you can select two more characters to help.
There are a variety of weapons you can select for your characters but remember to train your group with easy fights before going for big boss fights.
There are 4 difficulty levels which only the first two are selectable from start. After completing the game you have more choices.
The Bad:
Magic and weapon creation. For me this is bad as it is random, you waist hard earned money and have no way of knowing if your creation will succeed so you are forced to save the game before attempting the creation so if you fail you can restart and try again until you are successful. This game requires you to play more than once to be able to start a more difficult level and weapon creation repetition becomes a little boring as you never know the outcome.
Boss fight balancing: Some boss fights are very easy while other boss fights are very hard. You can fight one boss who is very easy and in the next few minutes have a very hard boss fight. This is not progressive in my opinion. Some bosses are so hard to fight that it could take you an hour to complete depending on your level.
Graphics are good but more variety should have been available as some of the rooms are exact replicas of each other.
Overall this is an excellent RPG game which I reccomnend.
