Don't believe gamespot, this game has great multiplayer.

Story: Andross's son is trying to take over the galaxy and you must stop him in the first level. Then, you learn that a mysterious species of alien named the Aparoids are trying to take over the galaxy. The story mode isn't all that good, being only 10 levels long, but most of the levels are good.6/10
Multiplayer: This, in my opinion, is where this game excels. With a good selection of characters and many weapons and many stages. The multiplayer kept my brother and I coming back for more. It really never gets old because you earn new weapons or stages every 10-20 matches. Most of the stages are great, and are very large and fun to play. With a large assortment of weapons, no match is ever the same. 10/10
Sound: Most of the sounds fit quite nicely, and get your blood pumping. 8/10
Graphics: Good graphics. Not much else to say. 9/10
Overall: If you want a great multiplayer, this game will provide nicely, but if you want a good single player, you are best looking somewhere else. 8.5/10
