Crappy controls, a useless rewind option and lame campaign makes this game a new cookie from old dough.

It's fun to board over a huge mountain with massive gaps, but let me get this straight: You have a rewind option. Sounds cool, but if you are competing against any other player (npc's included) you will snap back in time, but the other players/time keeps going forward so it's useless. That wouldn't have been much of a problem, but since the ground-controls are very bad you will end up falling down a gap, get stuck behind rocks/trees and restart, restart, restart, etc.

About the controls: Tricks are done very smoothly, that's not the problem. But the steering while not in air is just a pain. I've played about 8 hours, and I've been stuck behind planes/trees/rocks for about 50 times. I'm a huge fan of snowboarding games, but I have to say sometimes the gameplay is just a bit too fast to comprehend as a human being. Again, that would've been no problem at all if the snap-back feature worked in every single-player game like in DiRT 3.

One cool-but-crappy-controlled feature is the wing-suit. It's cool if it works, but I've found sometimes that the wing just doesnt open, and I fall down the gaps, and steering it is horrible.

Also there is Avalanche mode. You have to out-ride an avalanche, but you are watching it from the front, and you can't choose the camera.

Overall taken this game doesn´t lift the snowboarding genre to a new level, it´s just a new cookie from old dough. I´m not complaining fast, but this game is over hyped and only the wing-suit is a cool added feature if you can live with the horrible controls and the unavoidable gaps-of-death they shouldn't have added.
