I own every SSX game available on every platform. For me, SSX3 for the PS2 is truly exceptional.

I own every SSX game available on every platform. For me, SSX3 for the PS2 is truly exceptional. Everything from the graphics to the soundtrack was amazing. It kinda ruined me for other games. I have never found another game that I enjoy as much. When I put the disk in my PS3 and found out that the console wouldn't play it, I got back in my car, drove to Best Buy and bought another PS2. (Had given the others away to lessen my guilt about buying a PS3 and Wii in same year.)
I love the different types of game play though the full peak challenge while conquering the mountain is my favorite. The long runs though the backcountry are such a rush.
While I enjoy the advancement of the controllers (Shaun White/Wii Fit/Tony Hawk The Ride) to provide new exciting interactions with our games, I still miss the rush of that first 100 hours of playing SSX 3.
Everyone involved in SSX 3 will always be a hero to me. Wish I had taken the time back in '03 to write them a thank you letter or something, but I just couldn't put the controller down.
