SSX was a great Launch Title for the PS2, And a good opener to a great Extreme Sports game series : )

SSX stands for Super Snowboard Cross! Ya know that it is pretty sweet because that is exactly what SSX for the PS2 is and is all about! This game is the first game to open an amazing series of kick ass snowboarding games! SSX was one of the original launch titles for the Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2). The game featured All new PS2 graphics and for the time they look great, but fast forward 11 years into the future it looks kinda dated. The game features 8 riders to choose from not sure if you are able to unlock other riders in this game but in future releases your able to. My favorite Rider in this game is Mac he just has the best characteristics out of any of the other boring and dull riders. There are only 6 courses to race and showoff on which isn't much but you have to remember that this game is the original SSX. There are only 2 modes to choose from Single Event and the Main mode World Circuit, Single Event you can play what you have unlocked in WC so that pretty much sums up SSX for the PS2, It was a great opener to a series but it could have been better and had a little more.
