The best Spyro game.
The story is great and cutscenes are funny and very well made. Main characters are: Spyro, Sparx, Hunter, Elora, Professor, Ripto, Gulp and Crush. Every character has purpose and they are brought out well. The world, where Spyro adventures is beautiful, variable and colorful. Themes of the levels are great and creative.
Gameplay hasn't change much, but it is smoother and overall better, than in the predecessor. What makes this Spyro better, than the rest is variety of missions. Dozens of missions, what are great and adds replay value. Speedway levels still aren't my thing, but those are improved too. In Spyro the Dragon boss battles were a big disappointment, but in this game bosses are great. Only minus for gameplay is "glitch jump". With help of it you can go to places, you shouldn't.
Spyro 2 is one of the best games.
