This game is not very good, but I think the developers tried to mask it to make it look better. Doing this they made it extremely similar to Ratchet and Clank. First of all, the main collector's item (like coins in Mario) are attracted to you in both games. In Spongebob, you collect "shinies" and in Ratchet and Clank you collect "bolts". When you're near both of them they go to you instead of you having to go to them. Also, in both games there are certain areas in the levels where you can wall kick between narrow walls. Plus, the crates in R&C (which hold ammo, bolts, etc.) come in a variety of types. Some are normal, some explode, etc. The exact same things and types are in Spongebob except they hold shinies. And the jumping in SB is the same as R&C. You can jump, then jump again in the air, then glide until you reach the ground. Since the first Ratchet and Clank came out before this game, Battle for Bikini Bottom completely tries to copy the PS2 hit. Shame on you THQ!
