When I expected the game to attack me with brilliance, instead I was attacked with numerous levels of pure 'wrong'.

The game had it's moments, I must admit. I'll start with all the bad points and then go onto the 'moments'.

- How many glitches were there, seriously? At first I thought these would be your typical glitches like in Spider-Man 2. However, in the S2 game the glitches didn't bring it down with all the epic moments and perfect storyline. However, on this game, the glitches would sometimes see you failing a difficult mission. After several losses against Venom I finally killed him, but he also killed me... afterwards. But still I failed the mission after it was already won. I died afterwards. After-damn-wards.

- And then the storyline was just a total mess. What was with Venom taking Sandman's daughter. In the film her condition wouldn't allow to survive if she went through all that. Then Sandman explained the situation at the end and the conversation let down the whole point of it (in the film it was emotional and perfect). It was all a bit cheesy and childish. The storyline could've been a lot better.

- The last point is all about the emblems. Those bloody emblems and meteorites. One of the two gives you back the black suit forever once you've collected them all. After wasting your time looking through all the parts of the city and on the Internet for guides and maps, all you get is a little box popping up saying "Congratulations! You collected them all!" or something like that. No awards. Nothing. I got my hopes up when I picked up the rumour that you'd be able to play Venom if you got them all. I thought Hey, it would be better that way since Wii players get New Goblin as a playable character so it's only fair. But no. Just. No.

The storyline has one or two moments. I also liked the villain choices for the game, but I feel that the game should have been more movie-related. This is for all the games when I say that Venom shouldn't have named himself, in fact he never did yet Sandman somehow calls him that and Venom goes along with it.

Anyway, it was still enjoyable to play but the flaws just ruin what could've been a brilliant conclusion to the Spider-Man Trilogy.
