I got a new phone, had to get a game for it, and couldn't decide between - this, Popeye, Galaxian, Arkanoid, Centipede, and Sonic the Hedgehog. I finally chose Space Invaders on a dice roll. Luckily, I wasn't let down.

Thank goodness Taito knows when to not F with classics. This mobile version almost feels like the original despite the cramped screen and wonky phone buttons. Space Invaders mobile is everything you'd expect from a good mobile game, cramped screen but slightly addictive nature. At times I just want to pull out my phone and play a round of Invaders. It's truly amazing that a game thirty years old can still be so fun. And compared to a lot cell phone games in the past, it's nice to see something with such great replay value. It's classic invaders, and to be honest, it's hard to compete against that alone.

Graphics are pretty good considering that it's a phone, it's pretty much dead on to the original cabinet arcade version. Though like said before, it's cramped as hell…

If you like Space Invaders or classic games with great replay, this is worth looking at for your next phone. It's one of the best… for a cell phone game.
