Starfury proved that a lone independant game maker can do it right. The game, although not much to look at, is a fun departure from the normal genra of this type of game. It is limited in that there really is no RPG depth, the graphics are dated, and your locked into a single view of your ship.. from the rear. However the game does have a lot of depth and will give most players a good enjoy experience. I like it despite its set backs and have boughten it for the kids in the family to play. Strategy First now is now selling the game and you can buy it via download. Shrapnel Games was the old publisher, and they did a good job for being just internet sales only. I rate this game a solid 7 across the board. It could have been a lot more, but it was more than I expected. Malfador is only one guy ya know, and he did this all buy himself. And that is the amazing part about Starfury. Hopefully the sequal will be far more indepth and will alow players to take on a FPS perspective as a person. Perhaps players will be aloud to exit ships and expore planets, settlements, and what not. Take on RPG quests for both space as well as ground. Who knows, this game could become something far more in the years to come. Good job Malfador, looking forward to more games from you.
