Terrible? No way!

I first got this game a few days after I got my N64. When I first played it, I thought, "What the **** am I supposed to do?" But I gave the game a chance an I got used to the controls and objectives, and the game was very entertaining, but also had proven itself quite challenging. At first I thought it was just another Mario Kart wannabe, but the game's objectives are of the types of which Nintendo would have never even considered for Mario Kart. There are a slew of characters, many of which I will take quite some time to unlock, but because it's a racing game, that's a good thing, yet I noticed that my favorite characters are missing. Randy in particular. Butters hadn't been on the show at the time of this game's production, so he is absent as well. The only way to unlock racers, courses, and game modes is by championship mode, in which you play through each game mode unlocking characters, tracks, and game modes as you progress. After a course is unlocked, it can be played in any game mode that has been unlocked.
Championship mode progress can not be saved, so if you run out of retries or quit, the next time you enter championship mode, you will have to start from the beginning. This game may seem mediocre at first glance, but once you get right down to it, it's a difficult, yet still entertaining game. Even if it could be better if you get it on the Dreamcast or Playstation, rather than the N64, which I intend to do.
