When we think fighting games we think Mortal Kombat, Super smash bros (Also a few others) these days. But what truely deserves to be talked about other any fighting game is Soul Calibur. Giving it's great gameplay incredible graphics and it's art style action makes it that greatest fighting game to hit the market. Gameplay - With some incredible charactors to select from and easy-to-use combat system makes Soul Calibur a funner game then those released before it. Controls are flawless. Most fighting games have a seriously hard time mastering the controls for it's gameplay, but Soul Calibur really enhances the game by using the dreamcast controller making it simple it also makes the game smoother then ever. With great levels, easy controls and great charactors makes Soul Calibur the fighting game we've all been waiting for. Graphics - Graphics are the best in it's time name something that looks as good at this game in 1999? Shemue looks close to this game in graphics just didn't have the art of Soul Calibur. The level design looks incredible the detail in the charactors are extraordinary making Soul Calibur a perfect 10 in graphics. Sound tracks are great and enchance the gameplay. Sound effects are simply better then any fighting game out there giving it a easy 10.0. Value 10.0. Overall the greatest fighting game ever made and a really great game that will never be replaced. This game deserves none other then a Perfect score.
