Great sequel but lacks that adrenaline rush and high from Soul Calibur 2!

This is a great sequel but Soul Calibur 2 was more addictive and kept me drawn in more. To begin with,SC3 has 3 new characters: Zasalamel,Tira,and Setsuka. Tira and Setsuka are totally awesome and Zasalamel is ok but I've seen better than him. Many characters from Soul Calibur return along with lots of new bonus characters so you'll never get bored with the huge selection of people! The new story mode Tales Of Souls is pretty awesome and you can choose which direction the story will go. Also some of the characters' endings have a bit of comedy (typical Namco) so you'll have quite a few laughs. The new mode World Competion is a mode where you have to win 12 consecutive tournaments. But it's NOT easy. You have to be a Soul Calibur veteran to get past that mode. But if you exit before you complete the mode,you have to start over again. A save feature for that mode would've been nice. In Soul Arena mode,there's Quick Play which is your basic Arcade mode and Missions which lets you fight under special circumstances. In Museum mode,you can view character profiles,exhibitions,battle theater,movies from Tales Of Souls,or the art gallery. If you're just learning the game,there's a tutorial and a glossary that will help you. Then there's Character Creation which lets you create your own fighter!! There are a total of 13 jobs that your character can be and you also get to choose whether it's male or female. The personality of your character depends on the clothes they wear. As for weapons,there are 3 custom only disciplines and 2 Soul Of disciplines (they let you mimic whichever standard character is available for your character's job). In Chronicles Of The Sword mode,you let your own characters have the spotlight. But I'm not gonna go into details since I'm too lazy. But COTS is a pretty solid game mode if you like strategy and RPG. Also there's a Color Edit mode which lets you change the colors of the standard characters' costumes! Overall,Soul Calibur 3 is a great game that should totally be in your collection if it isn't!
