User Rating: 8.5 | Soul Bubbles DS
Soul Bubbles is one of the most unique games on the DS and why is that because it's a perfect game on the DS this game is what the DS is made for.

Soul Bubbles is all about keeping spirits inside a bubble and you have to guide it around the stage which is sort of like a maze. The stages to a variety featuring water, fire and enemies trying to steal the spirits such as frogs, birds which you have to kill to keep them away from stealing the spirits. Some levels do have plants which stick to your bubble which you just cut them off your bubble as well as you like slime sticking to it in some levels. Throughout the stages an item called Calabash is hidden you have to find them now each stage has 3 you must collect them to unlock the next stage. The star dust leads you around the stage even getting to darker places. In Soul Bubbles you will have to cut bubbles to get round tight spaces, you will have to join them back together, to get certain star dust you will have to draw a bubble then when you don't need the bubble you can deflate it. After finishing each level you will get a grade of A, B, C this will depend how much Calabash and Star Dust you have collected.

The levels have some nice art style design which really looks nice the sound is sort of easy listening music which is quite relaxing. The gameplay is just perfect in this game you simply use your stylus to blow to bubble around the level and to make extra bubbles you just draw a circle.

I think Soul Bubbles does have replay value I mean if you haven't collected call the Calabash or Star Dust you can go back over and collect them. One of the main problems with this game I did find it can get boring at times but still it's one of those games that makes me want to pick it up and play it again. The story isn't interesting at all but the game is a lot of fun if you have played Bubble Ghost on the Game Boy it's a little like that. Soul Bubbles is one of those games on the DS that should not be missed. I just hope French developers Mekensleep develop a squeal.
