My 10th review after Super Smash Bros.
Okay, first of all, how could this port ever exist? A remake of the classic game is killed because of this and I cannot believe I wasted my money. This really is even worse than Sonic The Hedgehog 2006. It will get an F--! Here the results:
Game-play 1/10: This version has glitches, and plus, on the Sega Genesis version, the view is zoomed out so you can see everything easily, but in the GBA port, the view is zoomed in, making everything impossible to be noticed.
Graphics 2/10: The Sega Genesis version had better graphics.
Controls 3/10: Really bad!
Sound/Music 1/10: The sound effects and one of the greatest video game music sounds so much better in the Sega Genesis version, but in the GBA port, it sounds like sh*beep*!.
Lasting Appeal 2/10: The most boring Sonic game ever created!
Overall, Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis on the GBA is not FUN at all.
The Good:
-Based on one of my favorite classics ever made
-At least it includes a save system and spin dash feature
The Bad:
-Full of glitches
-Zoomed in view
-Sound effects and music sound terrible in this port
-Poor graphics a version could ever have
-We do already mentioned how broken this game really is!
It's really poor that it shouldn't be recommended to anyone or any Sonic fans. They will cry if they play this, and yes, if you love the classics, then you will be disappointed with this awful remake so you might as well stick with the memorable classics. That's all for now!
