I got Sonic Classic Collection for the DS in September 2010 and one of the games bundled with it was Sonic 1 for Genesis. I played the game a number of times and I love Sonic 1!!! Sonic 1 stars the blue hedgehog named Sonic who is going to defeat Eggman and stop him from taking over the world. He goes through zones like Green Hill to Spring Yard and eventually reaches Eggman and defeats him.
Sonic 1 has awesome music (as usual), great, but challenging gameplay allowing you to do some precise platforming at times and overall it is a fun Sonic game. Whether you own the Wii, Xbox 360, DS, GameCube, PC, PS3 or even the actual Sega Genesis itself, you would've or would want tot play Sonic 1 on it. This game is fantastic and I wish games like Sonic 4 looked and played as fun as this classic.
