This is a fun game but I must say its so easy you can beat it by using only one button.

The Run Down:
Sonic the Fighters is a fighting game developed by Sega AM2 for Sega's Model 2 arcade system. The game, which allows players to fight using characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, was released in arcades in May 1996. You Used 8 characters ranging from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Espio the Chameleon Amy Rose, Bark the Polar Bear, Bean the Dynamite and Fang the Sniper. Later on on the PS3 and Xbox 360 arcade version they introduce Honey the Cat Dr. Egg man and Metal sonic.
The Good:
This game was crazy fun. I enjoyed going out with my mom back in the late 90's when we went to the laundry mat and playing this game while our close washed ( I was only XX and a mature one at that. This game was made a little better when released on the online arcade ( physical arcades are still a better experience for any one but the only PS3 and Xbox arcades are sill fun).
The Bad:
This game had horrible graphics even for the 90's, made by the same company that made the horrid Sonic R, Sonic and his buddies looked like boxed shells of them selves.
The Ugly:
This game could be beaten by holding down one button. This lame arse concept led to a lot of newbs to arcades being owned by one year vets. For any one to be owned by one year vets is sad. I know I sad the graphics when bad before but they were made worse when Eggman pops out in that mech suit and his face looks like a Vag'ina. Kids if you don't know what that is ask your mom or dad.
Conclusion:
This game has a lot of nostalgia for me. I really liked it and still do. But being who I am and having thousand year old wine taste opposed to some of you with cheep whiskey tasted I must say this game gets a 4 out of 10 or a 2 out of 5 on the Richter scale.
