It wasn't *that* bad. Seriously..

User Rating: 8.3 | Sonic Shuffle DC
Sonic Shuffle did have some merit to it that made it a memorable and interesting game, despite popular Gamespot belief.

The first notable feature is the new-style graphics. These graphics don't attempt realism but a sharp, cartoonish look that works perfectly with the sega cast.

The gameplay is actually quite good. Aside from the horrible loading times there is nifty features and improvements that Mario Party did not have. One thing is that the gameplay is far more story-based since there is more of a purpose to the game rather than just collecting the most rings. You have to race to the precious stone before your opponent can reach there. The only problem with this is that the immersive level of competition you'll get into will make you regret your every move, thus the "party game" loses its feel. Its instead made into a board-based game.

The minigames are one of the better sides to the game, despite gamespot's beliefs. I enjoyed the games far more than mario party's ones in truth since alot of them had alot more intense competition and not boring things like simplistic repeatative 'a' 'b' hitting.
