There comes a time in every mascot's life when he/she makes their way into the racing genre. Not all of these games are good, and Sonic Riders is one of those games. I'm just going to skip the plot and tell you about the gameplay. Sonic and the gang are now riding hoverboards, which would have been fun, except for the fact that the control scheme is broken beyond repair. Apparently, steering commands are just suggestions, as these boards handle like an indy car in mud. This game would have been fun if they had fixed this control scheme, which makes winning races a rare thing. And who's idea was it to make it so that the boards run on "air". Why do I need to get fuel to run my board? Why is Sonic even riding on a hoverboard when he is faster than the speed of sound.?Multiplayer isn't fun, because the control scheme is so poor. As I was saying, don't buy this game.
