I don't care what everybody said, this game is fun.
Since the complet failure that was Sonic R on the Saturn and the, let's say, decent Sonic Drift on the Sega Game Gear, the creation of a racing game with the blue blur was a risky idea. But SEGA proved that they could make that happen with Sonic Riders.
This game represent everything that Sonic is all about and that made him popular in the first place: stylish, fast-pace action. The gameplay is addictive, the control are good, the tracks are fun and it has pletty of unlockable features. I think the only points that make that game go down is the fact that the story mode is to short and could easily use one or two upgrades. Also, the cast of playable racers could really use some more racers and the one thing really pissed me off, is that there is not enough tracks, they left us wanting more of Sonic Riders.
Bottom line, this game is cool and really worth buying. I can't want for the sequel.
